Synopsis:

Fifteen year-old Megan Barnett and her single mom, Suze, have a special relationship—they are friends, close friends, who do almost everything together.

“But come on, guys, she’s my mother… Can I really tell her that while we’re snuggled up on the sofa watching Spider Man Three, I’m secretly undressing James Franco with my eyes? Of course not…”

The special bond takes a turn for the worse when Suze decides to start dating again. She hasn’t had a man in her life since Megan’s father left ten years ago.

Enter two mysterious young men, Megan’s new classmate, sinfully attractive bad boy, Guy Matson, and the dangerously handsome art dealer, Armando. Before long Megan and Suze both wind up in steamy relationships.

But neither of the handsome pair is quite what he seems. In fact, one of them is Satan, with his sights set on a new bride. Megan has precious little time to figure out how to stop him. If she doesn’t, either Megan or Suze are quite literally going to HELL.

My rating: ★★★★★

First of all, I won this book in a giveaway on Goodreads...sooo thanks a ton to the author who sent me the copy, I loved it!

Megan and her mother, Suze, have always had a close mother-daughter relationship. Its more than just that...they're friends. So when her mother starts dating (Megan's father left them when she was very young) Megan feels like this guy, Armando, will get between her and her mom. Not only that, but there's something weird going on with Armando. He may not actually be what he seems...

While all that is going on, Megan has some other things to deal with as well. For example, her two best friends, Matt and Erin, start taking interest in each other and start dating. It seems like everyone but Megan has found their other half: her mother, and now her two best friends. Jealousy makes her do very stupid things involving her best friends's relationship and especially her mothers relationship with Armando.

And then there's Guy, the new guy at school. He is an arrogant, gorgeous bad boy who is on the mathletes. I thought this was a little weird. Bad boy who loves math?
Puh-lease! Anyway, Guy starts taking interest in Megan (who is an AP student and is on the mathletes as well), and she really likes the attention. But Guy, too, may not be what he seems.

I absolutely loved this book! Right from the start I knew it would become one of my favorite books! :D The story line was simple yet interesting; the characters were diverse and surprising; loved the paranormal aspect; I loved that I couldn't stop laughing or smiling like a crazy person (in some parts) throughout the book; and I LOVED the surprising twists at the end. I really do love ends that are soooo twisty it nearly turns the book into a pretzel...you know, metaphorically speaking lol. Anyway, cant wait for book 2!
